Getting started with Guilduo: your first Quest

Start with one task whose completion you can verify yourself. Add AI after you can read that Quest, so account, connection and assignment issues remain easy to distinguish.

Open the Web App and sign in

Device guest storage belongs to the legacy root UI. Do not assume it is the same storage as an authenticated Relay Forge workspace or an MCP connection.

  1. Open https://app.guilduo.com/ and follow the Google sign-in flow in Guilduo / Relay Forge.
  2. Choose your working account. Grant MCP OAuth access with this same account later.
  3. Wait for authentication and synchronization to finish and check that Quests are usable. Avoid repeated edits or completion attempts while syncing.

Save a verifiable Quest

  1. Create a one-off To Do titled Improve one help message.
  2. Set the completion criterion to Compare the old and new text and verify the meaning is clear. Set the next action to Choose the message to improve.
  3. Use Backlog if the execution date is undecided; otherwise set a scheduled date. Assign it to yourself.
  4. Open it from the list after saving and verify its title, assignee and completion criteria.

Prepare an AI connection

  1. Register an Agent in Party. For example: display name Docs helper, role Improve text and report verification results.
  2. Choose the read permissions you need and consider write access if the Agent will update work. Do not enter a model API key.
  3. Connect through OAuth using the MCP connection guide and link the intended Agent in Connections.
  4. Verify get_current_agent_context and read the target Quest. Preview an assignment, save it and read it again.

Check completion and reconnection

Improve the message and complete the Quest after meeting its criteria. A one-off To Do is archived on completion, so check Archive if it leaves Today.

Previously loaded Quests may be read-only during reconnection. Reconnect with the same account and reread the saved state.

If success is uncertain, check the saved state before deciding to repeat an operation. A screen change alone does not establish completion or persistence.

  • First milestone: the saved Quest can be reread with the expected assignee and completion criteria.
  • AI milestone: linked is true, the required execution scopes are present and the target Quest can be read.
